tiktok script

considering other social media platforms to get people interested in colors. exploring the tiktok platform is on the works.

At the moment with twitter, we are sharing a post per day with blogs. But, this isn’t good enough; we can do better. Inspired by Gary Vees content strategy, we want to do more. Through micro videos, we want to show our enthusiasm on colors.

Even though we have no experience making Tiktok videos, it is possible if teenagers are doing it.

Initially, I felt overwhelmed. I know its going to be a lot of work. Or, there is a fear of starting. I felt this way just before starting on the blogs. So, its normal. When I am this mindset, it is always best to break it down and think.

Where should I start, movie director? Script

The script has to encapsulate our excitement about colors. From my experience, it was through reading Interaction of Colors by Josef Albers, Kenya Hara’s essays on the color white and looking at paintings in galleries. Out of the three mentioned, I believe the gallery visits are the most common.

Setting: someone looking at a painting on a screen

As a person who doesn’t mind watching some short clips on youtube shorts it would be silly not to steal from successful short videos. A bodega in New York (I believe) is cooking ridiculous sandwiches the “Ocky way”. Although it is silly, it is formula that sticks.

Plot: Ocky Way spin off with looking at a painting. (also find your trademark line like the “Ocky way”)

In this video, where Michael Jackson’s publicist would describe how Michael Jackson would see the infinity in an art portfolio; he would see things the artists didn’t see. He would “ooo” and “awe” just inches of looking at the first page; it would be an aesthetic overload for Michael. I think that would be a good starting point for the character in mind.

Character: Me seeing the infinity with the paintings colors

Since I want to release 3 tiktok videos per day, the varying factor in the tiktok videos would be the paintings themselves.

Not a bad script right? Now its time to do it.
